Floating Natural Wood Sink
In this tiny bathroom, Halliday Construction brought a client’s magazine-inspired vision to life with a floating natural wood sink that appears to be carved from a single solid block—but the reality is far more complex. To achieve the flawless, monolithic look the client desired, the team sourced various wood samples before selecting the perfect beech wood. They carefully milled and assembled multiple pieces to create the seamless effect of a perfect, continuous box, cleverly concealing all plumbing within.
This level of detail extended to the finish itself: six meticulous coats were applied to the surrounding paneling, while the sink itself received an incredible fifteen coats of a specialized spray finish—ensuring both beauty and durability in this high-use space. The result is a stunning, custom centerpiece that elevates the entire bathroom, proving that even the smallest rooms can make the biggest statements.
